Negative Data:
65% of Malaysians do not feel valued at work and say company never celebrate success. 94% out of them feel company has bad leadership and 50% claim to be clearly underpaid. None of the survey participants under 25 feel valued at work at all.
49% of employees in Malaysia are actively searching for a new job and another 23% is currently thinking about it. 90% would consider moving overseas for a new job. 73% of them would choose Singapore.
45% of Malaysians would not recommend their current company to relatives and friends
70% of Malaysians would leave their current job for better salary & benefits, 41% for a job offering more career opportunities and 34% for a different office location.
58% of employees in Malaysia say that company goals and values are not used at work
50% of Malaysians believe that management does not do a very good job communicating with employees and that corporate internal communication does not work at their company.
Positive Data:
46% of Malaysian employees really like their job. People who like their jobs have a more positive approach to work and company they are working for.
84% of Malaysian employees see their work in the final product. Having a purpose at work increases the level of engagement.
Although they would leave their jobs for a better financial offer, 77% of Malaysians consider company is paying them a competitive salary and only 23% of them affirm to be paid below market for the work they do.
83% feel proud to work for their company. Feeling proud generates a sense of belonging and enables company to engage them more easily

zaman skarang ni, baru stay kat 1 kompeni 2 tahun tengok kat luar banyak kompeni over berganda ganda lebih for the same skillset agak tempting gak nak cuba bila rasa diri sudah underpaid atau need new challenges especially time almost 75% (sendiri punya figure) yang masih belom cukup income untuk ada rumah sendiri...
